Hi everyone. I'm Stacy, mom to 8 kids, 2 kittens, and 20 chickens. I've been reading this site for years but just joined today (and posted a breed question.)
I'm glad to be here! I have 8 two year olds ladies and 10 brand new chicks!

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your new chicks :celebrate Raising chicks is a fantastic thing to do. It's great when you see them grow and develop and gives you a real sense of accomplishment. I'm sure you will enjoy yours very much too.

Welcome to BYC, Stacy. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children. Our children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds.
