DOUBLE yolker - yolk Hatched! Video p. 16 ** 13 Week PICS ** p. 51

Yes, I'm pretty sure they would have to be fraternal. I did see two yolks when I set them.

Wanted to add that I will create a personal page with all the details and links to the videos (I plan to add the video of the less successful hatch too) and maybe I can break the videos up a little too so people can watch it in chapters or something.

WOW; WOW that was amazing, I followed this last nite but I was on my laptop, pic was too small, so this morning I fired up my huge desk top and just watched this, amazing! What a learning experience! Funny thing is; I'm brooding 3 babies here in my office and the minute the video started they lined up and watched and were very quiet! Good Job Rebecca!

I think your video is great and is proof that sometimes peeps could use a little help. For the most part, I still believe less is more but in this case, the two babies were taking up so much space. I doubt there would've been room for the second chick to pip and it most likely wouldn't have survived.

You helped very carefully and showed us all when to stop (bleeding) and how to separate the membrane from the shell to allow the blood vessels to dry up and separate from the chick as natrually as possible.

This was a great story to follow. It did have all the makings of a BYC movie

and kept everyone on their toes.

Thanks and I hope your little babies stay healthy and strong!
