Hi everyone!

Thank you, Yorkshire coop! I feel good that someone will take the pair because Niederrheiners are so hard to find here. You are right about hatching eggs, but my two girls were broody all spring, and didn't let up, so I finally gave them some eggs to hatch in July and August. It was so much fun. I'm fairly new to chicken keeping, and was fretting about chick food and all kids of things. It was all for naught. Those broody mamas had them eating mealworms in no time and sleeping up on the roost at a month old.

I was just the same with my broody! Worry worry worry :barnie
But she just got on with it and it was fabulous watching her teaching them how to be chickens.

Love your pics, very nice :thumbsup
