after 15 days of added light here's first egg :D

i put a light timer in evening from 6-8 and in the morning from 4-8 in total 16 hours of daylight my hens were not laying eggs for 3 months after added light first week they became hevaier 2nd week my hens pelvic bones were 2 and a half fingers and here it comes first egg

I would suggest getting rid of the light from the evening hours and adding them onto the morning time unless your afternoon light slowly dims out. Reason being is that chickens see very poorly in the dark and tend not to move much in darkness and when they are roaming around the coop in light and it instantly shuts off into darkness they are now unable to find the roosts and feel secure. That constant nervousness at night could be contributing to less egg laying also.
