Do you free range?...Hidden nest?

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

How many birds, total do you have? Are you getting eggs from other hens in the flock? Do you have them confined to a coop and run or do they get out and about? How deep is the litter in their coop and run?
Where are we going, and why are we in this hand basket?

There is one other laying hen and one rooster. In a coup with an attached run. No hidden eggs.
