I was wondering if these three chickens were hens or roosters. I thought all three of them were hens, but I'm not quite sure. They are about a year old. They are just getting out of a molt so they are looking a little rough. The first picture I think is a rooster (but I'm not quite sure). The second looks a little like a hen and rooster so I'm the most confused about that one. In the third picture in the front is the first chicken again then there is another one I'm unsure about behind it. Please help!

All of the birds pictured are roosters. You can tell because of the large red patches, blotchy coloring, and pointy hackle and saddle feathers. Also, they are not Ameraucanas. They are Easter Eggers. Unless you get Ameraucanas from show breeders, they most often are "Easter Eggers" which are birds that lay colored eggs and often have Ameraucana ancestry, but do not fit the color standards of purebred Ameraucanas.
