:welcome

That's a nice looking brooder and I like the idea of keeping it around in case you need a sick bay (that's how we use our brooder too). I'm looking forward to seeing how your coop build progresses. Or if you forget to take progress pictures, I look forward to seeing how it turns out, lol.

Don't let work interfere too much with your chicken fun!

Thanks NorthFlChick.  I originally planned a little smaller, but then I got to thinking ;-)

May have to build a removable nesting box and a roosting bar for the sick bay...altho I'm not sure it's tall enough to accommodate a bar with a full size hen.  hmmm.  More thinking to do ;-)

It's always a good idea to build bigger. Just in case some chicks suddenly appear with no place else to go. I mean, you'd have to take them in, right? ;)

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-
