Well, Uglybators hydrometer is showing only 16%, so I added a small dish of water and will monitor to see how it goes. @Sally Sunshine or anybody else for that matter, did my air cells look a little big to you ? (day 6.5)
How in the world did you arrive at the name of Uglybator?

He is grade, he was sold as a spotted saddle horse and he is gaited but I think he is a saddlebred, he has really high action in the front. Thank you so much, he is my replacement for a human child lol

I had a SSH filly that & raised & got started under saddle. She looked a lot like your guy. She was TW. If yours is that exaggerated up front, my guess would be TH, not SB. Once you've ridden a gaited horse, you'll throw stones at anything else.

I totally agree! The "beginner" horse at the place I learned to ride was a Missouri fox trotter, and I rode him for many years, so when I started riding the morab, his gallop felt like a spring because I was so used to the MFT gallop! Gaited horses are awesome!

Because it's a jerry rigged piece of UGLY goodness! It's got greybrown paint stains on the top now too. Not sure how that happened. Need to get updated pics. lol. This is from my first hatch.
It don't have to be pretty, as long as it performs properly. Besides, it looks better a lot of re-purposed coolers I've seen in here.

Ugh, had it all types out, and it disappeared.

I need help with the humidity on my Brinsea 20 advance, without a pump.

My humidity was 38% last night about 11 pm, so I added more thru the vent hole, using aquarium tubing and a syringe. It was at 44% when I went to bed.
This morning it was at 36%, so I added a little more water. Got it to 45% before I left to work.

Got home at 5:30. It was at 25%. Added MORE water.

This is so stupid. Why won't it just stay steady? Is it because my house has roughly 0% humidity, and it's evaporating much faster? It's been like this since day two. I'm at day 4.

Also, these crappy little wire dividers don't work for quail eggs. They all fall over, no matter how snugly I have them tucked in. This is a problem, right?

They fall over eventually, as the auto turner goes back and forth.

My 1st one was a big, flashy 6 yr. old sorrel gelding, loaded with "chrome", and just down off of 4" pads the first time I saw him in western KY. I brought him back to MD & made a dog horse out of him. Even in toe-weighted shoes up front he retained the exaggerated show gaits. I'd scout dogs in a show canter! He was Midnight Sun bred. Got looks and comments everywhere we went.

do you have room to add a tall narrow container? It would give you a longer lasting water reserve without too much surface area for evaporation.
