We have 1 customer that only wants white. His mother trained him that brown eggs were "dirty". Hard to tell what else she claimed was "dirty".
Some won't eat 'em 'cause they come out of a chicken's butt. I had an uncle, raised on the farm, who wouldn't eat chicken 'cause he saw them pecking around behind the cows

That's like my current flock. They have nice clean water in there coop and run. As soon as I let them out to free-range round the property they head for the nearest dirtiest puddle they can find to have a drink.

I'll still eat them though

Just like store bought milk. Won't fly in this house. Nobody will drink it if it's bought. Fresh off the tit is the best.
Never drank much raw milk; only when I was on the grandparents' farm; not a lot of cows in the D.C. suburbs, but I remember shaking the bottle to get the cream mixed in.

People are funny. If they knew what catfish & crabs eat, they wouldn't get within arm's reach of either one.

We milked when I was growing up. I think we quit around my Senior year and went to strictly beef cattle. Semi used to pick up a load every other day. We milked 12 at a time, 6 on each side of the pit and twice a day. 3am and 3pm. Would take us about 3 hours. That milk would be ice cold in the tank and we'd dip a cup in and get a drink. Milk with scotch and Kahlua was a very popular drink in the milk barn.

Can't say as I've ever seen anyone on a milk drunk
