We had a great family dinner today. Just got in from doing chores and mixed a whiskey so if I post some off the wall stuff, you'll understand. LOL.

Supposed to start icing here in about an hour and continue through Saturday.

I walked into my shop last night after feeding chores and stepped on a 2' long copperhead. Made my heart skip a beat a little. LOL. He was cold and sluggish.

That would have made more than my heart skip a little, lol... and I used to take care of all kinds of snakes! :eek:

I had a california king. well DH and I did, he never fed it so of course ended to be mine. btard took my finger. sold it the same night, had it for two years. wasnt sad he went bled like I never bled too! razor teeth holy smokes was that thing hungry! and fast!!! So much for knowing my snake! NOT

Snake stories! This is the large rattle snake that my peacocks killed a month ago. Snake didn't stand a chance. He tried to get away from the peacocks and started going into the Guinea pen! Big mistake. The peacocks stomped his body flat and the Guineas pecked his head.

I actually kind of felt sorry for him, although I kill rattle snakes as well.. Just too deadly to tolerate around kids and animals.
