Ok so picked up the other hatching eggs, have my main bator going weith hygrometers, drilled a whole in the side and added the black poly tubing 1/4 inch with a cleat for adding humidity. Weighed and recorded all the egg weights.

Bator has been holding steady at 99.5-99.7 - around 21-25% humidity. Eggs are not in bator and still on turner at room temp.

Questions

1. Hygrometer - how to calibrate this model any links or tips? Thanks

2. I have 48 eggs total and my bator holds 42. So here is what I was thinking. I have a second bator Farm innovators still air, no turner. I was thinking of putting the 6 eggs in there that don't fit in the other bator in an egg carton. I can hand turn for while and then at some point candle, weigh and remove clear and hopefully combine into the bator with the turner and fan closer to lock down. Thoughts or suggestions?

3. Should I candle before setting or just go with the weighs?

I am feeling frazzled already and worried already...thanks. :frow

You mean change the face of the thing to read correct, or just figure out if it is off or not?

It turns out that my incubator did not spike much because when I got a new thermometer it would sat like 100 and the old one would say 108 but now I can't get the temperature Down to 99.5 help

1. Not sure how to actually change numbers on that one and I can't copy paste from notes on calibrating.
2. If you can hand turn I don't see a problem with this idea. As long as temp and humidity are good.
3. Are they shipped eggs? If shipped candle before setting to check air cells. If not shipped candleing is needed, unless you really want to.
