Anyone have any really good, easy and rather quick recipes for a nice dinner?? Today is our anniversary...but we're not going out and I feel awful today but still want to do something nice for hubs. Im making a cake but wanted to still make a nice dinner that won't cause me to be up for too long...seriously rough day...

1 nice rooster

2 rosemary brunches

1 nice yellow lemon

Black pepper

Salt

Paprika powder

caraway powder

Olive oil

2 onions

6 nice potatoes un piled

In a cup you put olive oil, black pepper, paprika, caraway, salt 1 tsp of each, 1/3 cup pf oil

You massage the rooster with the olive oil mix, and enter to its abdominal cavity 1/2 lemon and one rosemary branch.

And tye it.

Cut the potatoes to 1/6,and dice the onions and mix them in a tray put on them the rest of olive oil mix, and sam salt, put the ruster on them and grill to perfactio!

Nice green salad, and nice cold Rose wine and you are fixed!

Something just dawned on me. You bear a resemblance to my Chemistry teacher in H.S.  He also liked to cook. One night he was heating oil in a skillet on the stove. The kitchen was right off the living room, where the TV was showing a program he'd gotten interested in. While his oil was heating he stood where he could see the TV. He became engrossed in the program & forgot the oil 'til he smelled it burning. He ran to the stove, grabbed the skillet as it burst into flames, & headed for the back door, intending to toss the skillet / oil into the yard. He tripped on the threshold; 1st or 2nd degree burns, as I recall, on his forearms. He was a bit of a klutz. Out of school for 3 days.

Klutz and chemistry? A very DANGEROUS combination!

what kind of ingredients do u have, or are you going to a store, what kind of foods do you eat?

When i am feeling lazy i like to do chicken tacos/fajitas in my crock pot

I'll go to the store when I pick my daughter up...so I've got about a 2.5time frame for actually making dinner and having it on the table...but don't want anything too difficult

Happy Anniversary! How many?

Thank you! Well...we've both been through divorces...so this is just our 2nd wedding anniversary...I look at it more as a family-versary because we came together and blended our families - 5 kiddos total between us and then we had our youngest together. (Who is currently 19 months...& no more kiddos for us now!!) Real live Brady Bunch here folks!

@Chaos18

Out of 22 I locked down, I got a total of 13...5 already went off to their new home! (Total was 8/8 our mix from our flock...4/8 salmon faverolle and 1/8 welsummer) salmon faverolle and welsummer were shipped so I'm totally blaming USPS for crummy handling there, since I got 100% hatch from our flock's eggs.
