What I do in a 60-70 degree house is put a 75w bulb in for 2-3 weeks depending on breed and feathering then I switch it out to a 45w and in a week I take the plastic top off and put wire over the entire top, and then put a NON HEAT making bulb in just for light during the day and turn off at night, then when almost feathered except heads they go out to brooder outside.

Do you have Marbles in the waterer? or little pebbles?
This keeps them from possible drowning the first few days, it can happen.
The marbles also attract them to the water, and they naturally are drawn to drink!
Also dip beaks lightly to attract them to it. ACV in the water? or PRO VITS?
