Not the best picture I've ever taken. Still in the 'bator, prior to the latest two to hatch. Actually have a picture of all 5 so far, but it's disappeared somewhere.



This is the one that I couldn't find. The single black & 5 yellows; 1 w/the black spot mid-back & another w/several smaller black spots further forward, which may be discernible if blown up.

The second egg has pipped! I have videos of the first one, 'Q', hatching. Can I add vids from my phone or only pics? Haven't ever tried to upload vids.

Btw I named it Q because I didn't know the parents, so the egg had a question mark on it since I was originally going to be selling the chicks that hatched, but she didn't want just two, so I'm keeping them.

He only got two out of thirty HRIR he had shipped to him in the second batch. He said USPS was worse on his second batch. So two shipments of eggs yeilded only thirteen of the much coveted chicks. He called it a freaking tragedy :hit
 
Also, when will it start to fluff up? Like, his belly and sides are fluffy, but the top of him looks like it dried kinda crusty....:/ It's been in the Bator all night. Q hatched at about 9:30-10:30 pm. I'm not taking him out until Aj, the other chick, has hatched and is dried off. Am I doing the right thing?

That's more indication than I've gotten from my remaining 7 since yesterday afternoon when the last of the other 5 hatched out. I went in & grabbed the 5 & stuck them in the brooder, removed the shells, I situated the 7 unhatched eggs in the center, under the heating element, & that's where they sit. Of course they're not actually due 'til this afternoon, but I have a feeling I have all I'm going to get. We'll see.
Have 3 solid yellow, 1 yellow with a black spot midway of the back, & 1 solid black. At least one has feathered legs.
