Any chance they were held at post office for pick up?Well, my Silkie eggs are here, but my turkey's never arrived this morning? If they come tomorrow, what are the odds of them being alive?they were shipped tuesday morning.

It was already on my Do not give list, due to other family members having bad reactions to it, during surgery.wow!! I'm sorry you had that reaction! I have never seen ketamine given in the OB setting!!! I actually requested it if they have to scope my wrist!!! I'm prone to hypotension after anesthesia and propofol is much more likely to cause that so if they need to do anything more than versed and dilaudid, i told them "Go for the vitamin K!" Thats part of the beauty of medicine though, in my opinion-the way each drug acts and how many different choices there are to achieve the same result. Unfortunately , you have to experience a bad reaction to know what works and what doesn't-no cut and dry rules because people are so different. I hope your son is ok and that he heals well from surgery. Any medical experience is tough on kids.
I live on the border, and border towns do not have "good medication" they are backwards, and do things in a way that most up to date hospitals won't.
Not only that, but during a c-section there's NO REASON why I couldn't move my arm. The doctor had them knock me out because my shoulder got a cramp and I adjusted and was asking them to fix the wedge.
A lot of times, they don't even restrain women anymore, and let them hold their babies while the doctor closes.... my husband couldn't stop them before they used ketamine on me. he knew (from being in surgeries all the time for knee/hip replacements, that odds were high the reaction would be BAD.)
The doctor was an all around *******. He's the reason I gave birth at 24 weeks to begin with, and I had no choices. They wouldn't transfer me to a bigger hospital, he wouldn't let me give birth vaginally, despite baby being head down... told me he wouldn't have the nicu team fly down to save them if I didn't sign the consent forms for the c-section.
