[quote o this is where you disappear to . the pointed end will be clear more than not . most people look from the top of the egg . so they don't see the pointed end . If the air cells look good and there is not a large amount of fluid between the air cell and the chick . all should be fine . the fluid line should be a very fine line for best hatch results. temperature fluctuations are common in Styrofoam incubators with ceramic filled metal heating elements . sometimes as much as six degrees . but most of the time its more like four degrees the important thing is that the eggs remain at a constant temperature . that is why all recommend you take the temperature at the top of the eggs .
Yes,it moves like liquid and yolk at the pointed end.About 15 more hours till lockdown.Where I'm at here,we have a tornado watch and flood advisory for two days,I hope our electricity doesn't go out course then I think they really won't make it.
Try not to worry. You can use heated water bottles to keep the temp up and make sure to wrap the incubator with blankets. You can also use a couple of candles and bricks to make a heater to help keep it warm. I can't remember where I saw it but I would look it up!!! Good luck and your power does not go out!
