INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

Good morning everyone!

I have a sick CW. She's lethargic, when I picked her up to isolate her she had creamy white poo that came out when I was holding her to check her vent. I had not checked it yet. I put her in a cage with some extra calcium as a just in case but she did lay a small egg that was a bit soft shelled, smaller than normal

I began the DLM a few weeks ago and am using PDZ along with turning it over and misting the top due to dust from the feeder. My show roo was sneezing when inside.

I am freaked that the Bielefelders could catch something, due to them being in the next coop down.................

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Should I start them on something? I've seen no sign of worms and they were wormed with Rooster Booster Striker a couple months ago before the real cold set in.

Help would be appreciated greatly!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and one more thing...........I have an eye infection.........doc didn't know what it was so put me on antis and steroid drops.......could we all have the same thing? They do not have runny eyes at all.

mornin @scottcaddy

Thank you, I'll look for it:)

I can post the same thing 10 times, and never shows up. Very frustrating!
I remember Sally asking about pictures of the basement earlier. I didn't take pictures of the aftermath because I didn't think anyone really want to see all that poop!
I have more places to put chickens than a person with only an acre should have. Building yet another coop, even for the winter, by the house just seems stupid to me. I just keep telling myself that it's too much.
That being said, I can have one put together in only a few hours. I've never had the chickens and the ducks actually in the same coop before, but I think they would be okay. I can't rule it out.
Outside of my back door, there is a porch and a totally enclosed area with two screen doors. One on each side. The one to the left is the main door. The one to the right is further from the porch, and where I would put that winter coop. I could then just open that door to get to the chickens. They would even have an electrical outlet nearby for heated water.
Tell me again why I don't want to do this. :-D
MC you use your cell or laptop? nope not telling you anything @MotorcycleChick

Nite Sally....

You've got fish up there I've never heard of. What's a Splake?
idunno.gif

Spake is a cross between Lake trout and brook trout. Both are technically Chars...they grow fast taste good, and are relatively easy to catch.

Oh my gosh I had to skip so much!

How are your chicks @country lovin ?

@Sally sunshine So I think with the chicks that needed assistance it was from to much humidity days 1-18, and then too little humidity at lockdown?

Most of them had goop on them and then got dried and stuck in the shell.

I had a DIS that was shrink wrapped and MAL, one that internally pipped and drowned as well.
yes I do believe that @Saris did you have a big change in weather patterns in your area?

Sally is sleeping.
$5 fine for skipping.
Pming you my paypal
how much did you collect in fines last night? now I dont have to send fiddy to you right?

We have Trailer Joe.
He lives in a 14x56 and owns a 6x12 utility trailer.
