Hi there
Sally asked me to pop over and take a look.
I do just the hour not the recomended 2. I also only do untill day 18, when they go into lockdown I turn it off. I have found without the cool down they can hatch that tad earlier like day 20.

Once the battery is in there should be an indicator to switch from C to F.

there are no buttons on it.
You can also bring a " chick" for him .........
