I've also seen people say that, but have not seen people post any official documentation that says why not to use it. Fowl mites in CA are somewhat resistant to it, so I use mostly permethrin.

Just he was on hee haw too, at times

Just went out to take care of my ducks...warmed up to 9.
It's actually nice out. No wind sunny.

YES do not use sevin! It is banned for use in poultry, and the egg withdraw is lifetime! (If you have used it once, yu should nevery eat that bird's eggs again)
I think its a bit overkill, but you still shouldnt use it.
