These two are the wild ones.
I will be expanding my coop tomorrow, but it won't be that big ordeal that others go through. I have a 12 x 12 building, that is one half chicken coop and the other half has a movable wall. Right now the wall is 6 feet back with the ducks behind it. I will move it two feet forward, and open the door between the ducks and the chickens. I have to figure out a ramp into the chicken pen, and out into their run (the chicken pen is elevated). That shouldn't be a big deal. The fun part is going to be doing a complete clean out of the duckpen. Then being sure everyone is okay. The drake isn't overly randy, and has never gone after a hen while free ranging.
Assuming this works, it'll make my life a lot easier. Especially on the cold nights. The ducks will be warmer, drier, and (I hope) happier.
