This is just me, but I let them ride until day 23 or 24 and toss them. Any later than that and the chances of disabled chicks goes way up

I cant remember if at 6 pm starts day 21 or 22...at any rate I've got a few more days before ill tap and float and toss..just wondering how often your late eggs come out healthy? Most of my unmatched are my wl eggs I wanted so badly!!

just make sure you have enough water in there and let them in for now your early girl!

You're still early. Could be that the other breed hatches later. On average, if I set 24 eggs, 12-15 will hatch on day 20-21, then I will get 3-5 more over days 22 and 23. I don't normally start getting chicks with issues until late day 23. I don't even candle them any more.
