Thanks, I'm going to try a wash on all eggs now - they have been clean. Everyone washes hands etc. Pennies in the water (1960's).
On a better note. My 3 month old babies got a door to go outside, and a small temporary run built until we can get the full run done. They got to play in the big hens run, while we were working in theirs. Big girls had to stay in their smaller coop.
The baby silkies got to go outside as well. They could walk right through the fencing, so they really weren't penned in, but they didn't wander far.
The white one is a roo. Rest should be hens. They are getting big!!!
This is the new run. Not huge, but it lets them go outside!
