Welcome!!! I hope you have chicks soon!!! was your temp too low for a still air?
IDK not sure, looks like veining ? cant tell its hard to judge air cells videos are best and side shots. from the top I cant tell, sorta look small but again images from the top dont really show depth of air cell, and even then are tough.
Thank you! We cross posted... I'll retake some side shots in a minute... I'm too inept to upload a video. The shadow in the egg seemed to be part of the chick- almost looked like feathers were coming off it.
we sure did!!! video is easy but you have to upload it to youtube or vimeo first then copy the code and insert here or just throw the link to youtube on not a biggy!!
Good Morning @Sally Sunshine . Update on my staggered hatch:
Locked down 7 eggs yesterday in the new coolerbator hatcher. Wish I would have had more time to tinker with it but temps are stable and humidity is sitting at 65%. We'll see how it does. Due to hatch 2/25.
The other 32 are due 3/3.
gotcha!!! good luck!!!
baby who pipped last night is moving the chip with its beak but still no progress. one other egg which the air cell disappeared on yesterday chirps occasionally but still hasn't pipped. (with my incubator i can candle without taking the eggs out and it doesn't affect the humidity either. egg 3 still hasn't pipped internally
here read the timing on this post, I think its early from what you posted last night, but read these....
