thanks. We had some random deaths so my husband made the executive decision to cull the remaining birds we had so we r starting over
I sell chicks locally (Philly PA area), but I don't ship. I am mostly selling to first time (or second time) chicken keepers who want some of the rare breeds they read about on the internet but can't easily get shipped in small quantities. Some people also prefer to get locally raised chicks, so they don't endure the hardship of being shipped. It covers the feed and some of the fixed costs, but it's never gonna take the place of my day job.
