I have a homemade plucker but Brit and I can be done in the time it takes to set it up/clean it up. Only time the plucker comes out is if we kill a bunch of heavies, like over 50-60. I don't even scald over heat. I scald with straight hot water in a 5 gallon bucket straight out of the water heater in the shop. Usually get 5-6 birds out of it before I get new.
