@Sally Sunshine I finished my hatch today and moved my chicks from the incubator. I have 31 chicks out of 32 that went to lockdown. The one that did not make it was zipping almost oblong in the shell. It was fully developed. I waited too late to assist. So I have 31 out of 32 for a hatch rate of 97% in my LG 9200 still air.
WOW this is wonderful hatch @Math EXCITING!!!! and so many colors too!!! how lovely!! Are you setting more? :clap
Yes. I have one more request for chicks. And then after that I need a break.

Night!!! I hope you get some sleep!!

I need someone online to answer some of my stupid questions. brinesa octagon 20 advanced. what humidity level?
For what stage? I like to keep it around 30 to 35% for the first 18 days, and then 65 to 75 for lock down.

Many people just run a dry hatch at the beginning and at the first candle, see where the air cells are and adjust. Check out the first page and helpful hints for something called Humidity is not a set number!

Good luck! What do you have set?

X2 and calibrate hydrometer and thermometer don't assume they are correct.

.

Thank you.
One improvement for me this time is that I kept the chicks in the incubator 3 days from the first pip and zip until the last chick hatched. I started the lockdown with about 60% humidity. With the first hatchling the humidity went to about 90% humidity and remained until I removed the 31 chicks. They are all healthy and vibrant. Thanks for your positive vibes.
Very nice! :jumpy
