@ChickenCanoe I'm not sure if I will cut them. I am alone, and I have never done it. If a friend has time I may try. Otherwise it can be done when buyers pick them up.

I have the Hempstead at 99.7 and humidity 50% does that sound right

What are you hatching?  Chicks, I run 65 to 70 for humidity.

May I ask - how big/heavy do your lavendar orpingtons get? I like the idea of adding some lavender genetics to my Naked Neck mixes, but worry about dropping the weight too much...

My hen is a full English Orpington and I'm not sure on the Rooster but he looks full English or maybe part English and they are really large. I don't think you will have any problems with dropping weight.
