Today is Day 20 of incubation for our duck eggs (mallard). Everything seems to be going well...thanks to all the help on this site! Today when I went to turn the eggs I noticed 1 of them was rocking. I candled it and I can see movement in the air pocket. This egg from day one looked a little different in color and size and now I'm not so sure it's a duck. Not sure what to do and certainly don't want to put the other eggs in jeopardy. I only have the one incubator. Has this ever happened to anyone? I'd appreciate any help someone can give me!!!
you upped it to 60 its should be fine, can you show images?
Orloffs are such a great breed!!! so sweet!! GOOD LUCK!!
Thanks! I'm very excited that I convinced my better half that we should get some orloffs. He didn't want to at first because they're "weird looking", which is exactly why I like them, lol.
Love all your info on this forum. It has been very helpful for me as a first timer. We borrowed an incubator from my father in law this time, but I really want to make a cooler bator!
I will join the May hatch a long, thank you!
