Hello,
We bought a few Swedish Flower pullets, and it looks like one of them is an imposter -- she's developing a crest that looks like a Polish hen.
We free range our flock and for this particular hen we're concerned about aerial predators (the yard is fenced in) as well as the potential to be picked on by others. Looking to hear the experiences of others and also get some advice. Would tying the crest with something like a rubber band be advisable? Any other tips?
Thanks!
