Our Ameriquana looks sick, not laying eggs. But is eating! Help!! Sleeps in nesting box.

She sounds like she is molting. My chickens started molting and I thought they were getting sick! They looked awful (shriveled and pale) with patchy feathering and they walked stiff and slow. They were reluctant to get off their perches, they aren't laying, and they don't eat as much. It may take a few weeks, but if it is just molting she will get better.
How old is she? Chickens go through their first molt after one year of age.
