Just wanted to say Hi and introduce my self. I am Robin and my daughter has talked me in to raising chickens! We have had 5 chickens since June. It has been fun, interesting and very funny raising these silly birds. They make me laugh every day. As to my avatar that is Mo Mo who likes to get on my back. I guess she feels "I'm the princess!"
Learning about them is fun too. Though I have one question and can't seem to figure out how to post it so I'll ask here. I have just learned about squatting. Well I have been told I have a rooster in the bunch. I'll post pic in a second. It has started out to be Ginger then has gone to George but from what I have read about squatting only the hens do that. So my question is, if it is a George, can a rooster squat? Is this a Ginger or a George? What ever it may be, it does squat!
