My DH brought home some deer meat from a guy at work and not being one to like really gamie tasting meat, someone suggested making Salami out of it....

Deer salami and sausage is so good. My dad was a hunter when I was a kid and I miss all the venison, elk and wild turkey. He would have the butcher who processed the meat make up the sausage and salami but I have seen kits in stores like Sportsman's Outfitters or Cabellas where you can make your own.
