Hey all!
I got my duck (yet to be appropriately named) almost two months ago now. He/she is growing a lot slower than the ones I used to have! It's throwing me off a bit.
I have had a Khaki Campbell, Indian Runner and their mixed babies in the past, but this one I'm not sure if it's KC or mixed. I've yet to take a more recent photo but here are some over the course of the last few months.
I'd love to hear what you think it might be!

It sure looks like a KC, Runner, or mix. Maybe it could also be a Cayuga. Not sure though. If it was older it would be easier.

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to add the pictures when I posted! Here are some photos of him/her

Welcome to BYC I am thinking maybe Rouen?
RouenPair.jpg
I had thought that at first when I got her, because of her markings, but she doesn't have a huge head or body like they say Rouen ducks have. I could be wrong, maybe what I see as small, others see as large! The only place where she does not have adult feathers is where the green part is on your picture. The feathers around that area are white tipped, though. And it would also explain the markings on her face. I wish I had asked the question when I got her! It was a spur of the moment choice, as I missed my other ducks. Thanks for replying!

Posting a pic of her in her adult feathers may help too. The only place i see green on the birds I posted is on the drakes head, were are you seeing green maybe blue is showing up green on what your using. I think show quality Rouens are big but probably hatchery are not as large.. Lets see if @Debs Flock is on she has Rouens.
