EGGS!! I didn't expect them at 21 weeks old! I know for certain that this egg is from Nickel.

The comb development in the Andalusians just really took off in the last two weeks so to have an egg already was a real surprise!

Here's a picture I took of them last week. (They were eating yogurt.)

This picture shows Nickle and Duck...notice their combs aren't even really red...and neither were squatting for me.
My Andalusians are my only white egg layers and we saw Nickle go in and then sing the "I laid an egg" song. So cute!

We have a BA hen named Larry. We are always worried about her because when we let them out into yard she always goes walk about into the woods, or over into the neighbors yard. My neighbors must think I have a child named Larry because we are always wandering around hollering "Larry!" Lol. Larry is everyone's favorite. I highly recomened them.
 
The Blue Andalusians are beautiful birds. I love everything BLUE, so I'm hoping to add some to our flocks - both for themselves and for adding a blue project to my CLBs.

A friend of mine bought a bunch of what was advertised as Blue Andalusians from TSC. All the roosters looked like Andies, but the girls all looked like large breed mixes - predomintely Australorp. She sold all of them. None of them laid a white egg either - they were dark cream to tan...

I know of a breeder here in NC that I hope to get chicks from in 2021 to get started with. Then I will search for other breeders, too.
