Any one know what she may be?

Thread Starter

Can anyone give me any information on this hen? I have been trying to get pictures of her for some time now, we are finally getting a break in the weather. Her actual color is that of her head, she looks a bit darker here because she decided to do a little foraging in the subsiding rain.  She was found on the side of the road and has come a long way from when we got her.

She's a buff Orpington or buff Orpington mix.
2 dogs, 6 cats, 40 chickens (australorps, wyandottes, and easter eggers), lots of tropical fish, and a toddler.

Agreed

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay. --Robert Frost
