I have a Rooster that has been really taking care of my young flock of 11 hens.
Recently he started limping on his right foot, but I can't see anything wrong with it.
Yesterday he wouldn't come off his roost so I just let him be.
Today, he still was on his roost so I lifting him off and onto the floor of the coop.
He managed to limp outside for the day but my fear is he is not eating or drinking as he just seems to lay around.
I lifted him back up to his roost again tonight but I suspect he will be the same tomorrow.
He typically crows and crows and crows.
The last few days = nothing.
His feet appear to be fine.
But then again I am new at this so any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
