Barred Rock... Late bloomer or rooster?

1st picture (buff) looks pullet, the second pic the chick on the left looks roo and the chick on the right (the "late bloomer") looks pullet. If you want a for sure answer, post a picture when they are about 6 weeks old. Hope this helps! :)

We got super lucky with our first batch- 10/10 pullets, all have now started laying. Thank you for looking!!

Right now I'm just waiting for them to go broody. Will most likely incubate in the future !

Any luck with broody BR's?

Our "other chick" (now "Betty") decided to go broody on us this week- complete with plucked out undercarriage feathers and is superglued to the nest. She's now slept on her dud eggs at least 3 nights so we're working on trying to get some fertile eggs to see how she does. In a way it's a little disappointing because she only laid for about a month and a half, but on the other hand, I suppose it's nice to have one that will... for the few minutes she does get up she walks around puffed up like a turkey - very fierce.
