So they all died one by one! I have no idea why. They would go extra sleepy, then start shaking, turn their necks, flip over and die! It was rather awful as one minute they were totally fine and the next minute dead. I am cleaning everything and starting over. I currently have 14 eggs in my incubator that are on day 4. I candled and it looks so far as if 12 are fertile and have growing embryos. My incubator seems to work just fine as the chicks hatched very well previously.
I'm doing this in Tanzania East Africa, because I work and live here and am originally from Missouri.
I am receiving pullets Saturday from a new supplier which is also where I got the eggs from that are currently in my incubator. Fingers crossed they don't all die! Any suggestions would be helpful....as far as I can understand from the locals I am incubating and trying to raise a mixed breed between a local chicken and what they call a "modern" chicken. Sorry, I know that isn't very helpful in describing the breed.
As they grow i will try to post photos and maybe someone can help better identify the breed.
