Start of fowl pox or I'm just a hypochondriac

Really the only "symptom" has been a decrease across the whole flock that I had posted about before but since then they have kinda started laying again about 3 eggs every couple of days.

The kids think I'm just being a hypochondriac but figured I'd seek thoughts.

Chelle = Keeper of Chaos.

No, I don't think so. Fowlpox generally start off as white "pimples," then pop and crust over--not pleasant. The scabs on your chicken do not look like the pox.

As far as the egg decrease goes, in the fall, hens do sometimes experience a drop in lay as the daylight hours decrease
