I was suspicious of this hen not being an EE since shes missing some of the characteristics that my other EEs have.
I was determined to see what color egg she was laying and I wasnt surprised at the brown egg, but what happened immediately after surprised me for sure!

That is funny. I have heard my hens make some real odd sounds but they haven't crowed yet. Haha

Do you have a cock/erel(s)?

Have you heard this before and not known it was her?

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Yes, I have 4 roos.. never heard her do this, didn't have any idea she was going to. I just had too much time on my hands (this is what happens when I take a whole week off work) I spend too much time with the chickens smile.png

I've got this little project, I'm trying to make picture collages with each hen and the egg she lays.. again too much time on my hands (lol). That's how I caught it. Her collage looks like this.

Some others..

Now if my roosters start laying eggs, I'll have to rename them Caitlyn..
