How many are there total? I was trying to look at the leg bands but I got lost ;)

I see 2 cockerels and 3 pullets though, based on the leg bands or lack of....

That first one, looks like a purple band, is a cockerel. There seems to be another cockerel without a leg bands but it might be my eyes missing the band.

There are 3 pullets, 2 that have a yellow, and green bands, and one without.

I don't know if they're all shown separately, or if you have multiple birds with the same colored bands, but I hope it helped :)

BTW, good idea, using bands ;)

Ok, yay I think I was able to distinguish them apart :D

Ok, so the 1st and 3rd birds look like the cockerels, and the second, fourth, and fifth one look like pullets :)
