I really don’t care for the fair, but it was ok. It was good to see friends. My friends husband bought us 2 passes for the week and delivered them to our house. I was only going to go one night but now I have to go at least 3. 😝
I had a pork chop on a stick. I didn’t even check out the food stands. I tend to stick to our local one. There is a stand that sells pulled pork nachos that I will be having tonight…expensive but delicious!
 
Good morning all. We had a gulley washer last night. Lost power for about 6 hours, one of my mesquite trees in the front and two shrubs in the back plus damage to the garden fence. Fortunately our roof is ok and no cars were damaged. By some miracle the chickens were dry and their coop is undamaged as well

Good morning Debby! I could go back to bed. We were at the fair last night so I didn’t get to bed until after 11. My son stayed here last night and I had to make sure he was up. He’s taking his girlfriend to St. Cloud. She has her state boards at 11:30 today and she wants to keep studying. I hope she passes. She’s a nervous wreck right now.

Hi DMC. We probably got between 1 and 2 inches. The storms don’t happen often but they’re becoming more destructive. We haven’t ever had this kind of damage ourselves anyway. We saw pics of a street light that was twisted and bent from the wind. It’s still standing, but it’s got a distinct u shape to it.
