The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We had a few hard frosts last month but, it's only been a couple days since the trees are actually dropping leaves. Have never seen it take them so long. Really going to be a mess if snow buries the leaves. The only good part was the very vivid color change of the maples etc. has lasted for quite some time. Another oddity for us.[/QUOTE.]
Similar here, though mostly gone now. I think the massive wind storms had something to do with it

Nice. I want goats, they are such cute babies.... but a co-worker with goats reminded me that those little goats grow into big goats :th.
Just like human babies ;)

There are lots of goat groups on Facebook, maybe one in your area. Also backyard herds.

Me on facebook :lau...never.

I am a member of BYH and was over there a few minutes ago, found a thread here on goats - over 3,000 posts, go that will keep me busy for awhile.

I did to to "the tube" and watch some videos - :bun love those pygmy goats.

Caught all the guineas and took them to the new coop!

I second Nigerian Dwarfs! They are adorable! There's also pygmy goats (that's the breed, I think full name is maybe African pygmy or something), but they're rarer, at least around my area. I think those are really the only two mini goat breeds, unless you count mixes of Nigerians with dairy breeds (mini Nubian, mini lamancha, etc etc). Around here the main goats are Nigerians with some dairy goats. Most of the dairy goats are breeds I don't want so it's hard haha I want like 2 wethers for pets/brush clearing so I wanted a bigger goat to be better at the brush part but I might have to go with Nigerians. Although, there are dairy goats, I've seen some good ones, but there are wayyyy more NDs. The wethers aren't too expensive though thankfully, the same as any other goat
