The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I prefer to knit by hand - I learned from a book and you tube :) I have crocheted afghans, but prefer knitting. Problem is winter dry hands and yarns aren't a good mix :(

:frow Hope things are going well for you and the Princess.

The Princess crochets afghans and knits, but bone on bone arthritis in her left wrist has become a problem. Right now she is knitting scarves for Christmas presents. Other than a few aches and pains the Princess and I are doing really well - I think. :hmm

It's probably safe to assume so until the Princess tells you differently :D

I know what she means - never knotted scarves, will have to investigate :)

Do you knit by hand too? That and crocheting are things I never could get the hang of. My grandma used to try to show me but she was a lefty and that didn't translate well to my righty brain.
I can knit but only make scarves because pearling is harder and following a pattern is a pain. I would rather just quilt.
