It's always surprising where all that stuff is coming from. Your back can hurt because your legs need stretching. The older I get the more I gotta keep this stuff loose. Just simply reaching for my toes daily helps.I had treatment for back pain with an elbow pressed in my butt cheeks!
It pushes on the nerve and can relieve the pain and loosen the muscle.
It's worth a try. I actually learned it from a chiropractor. Long car rides are a nightmare. That's why I'm a hermit.Huh, that's interesting. Wonder if it would help when I'm in the car too long on roadtrips and my butt really starts to hurt/be sore and no matter how I sit is uncomfortable

My fitness band tells me to move every hour. It is irritating!I've been trying to move more and do stretches and stuff lately. Touching toes and reaching up but also stuff like the exercises I saw my dad doing after his hip replacements where you lift your leg up but have to use your hip muscles not your knee or stepping up and stepping down or moving my leg out and up to the side but you have to stay standing straight. That one is REALLY hard. Also kicking back and forth and I swing my arms all the way back and all the way forward/up over my head. Simple stuff but even that increases my heart rate and is pretty hard. For instance, I am VERY unflexible plus I actually think I have tight hamstrings, was told that a while ago and did physical therapy briefly but stopped. So the leg to the side thing is nearly impossible and I can't touch my toes. I'm also really tall though so I've never been able to. I can barely get to my knees.

You gotta keep at that stuff. Bodies are always trying to shorten up. Stretching muscles daily is important to keep stuff loose. I go up to my second floor and get on the floor on the top of the landing to do my exercises and stretches. I can't get down and up off the floor either anymore the old fashioned way. Just simply sitting with your legs out in front and reaching will help you stretch everything out.I've been trying to move more and do stretches and stuff lately.
