We got our flu shots last week and no pain at all, so it's not normal for it to hurt, but it does happen.
Sometimes you can feel a reaction as your immune system kicks in afterwards. It should go away in a few days. Drink green tea and take it easy. Also is it normal for my joints to be kinda achy/weird? Mostly my finger ones and wrist ones atm
Usually the shot hurts because the person giving the shot is not good at it!Ohhh whoops. That must be why. I always forgot how much they hurt, being once a year and all. Other shots don't hurt it blood work.
That must be what it was!!
Very nice Sean!Yep, in "Tiny Tots" competition at the Comanche Homecoming PowWow in Walters, Oklahoma, 6 yrs old!
So it hurts some - pull up your big girl pants and tough it out. When I got the first Shingrex shot -it didn't hurt till later and then hurt for several days. Wasn't severe but, pain in left arm can indicate heart attack coming on - that was scary.
BTW the info with Shingrex shot says the side effects can be more severe than regular inoculations. Still waiting for the second one. If you've ever had shingles or witnessed someone else suffering from it - my brother had it twice- you'd be very grateful that you got the shot instead.
I had an older shingles shot - didn't hurt at all. But this new one is supposed to have increased % of protection. So many people have gotten the shot, it's taking months for them to crank out more to meet the demands.
Too bad so many people neglect a flu shot, which just allows it to spread like wild fire.
Many children/ seniors, people with compromised immunity died from it last year. It was a crying shame. Many places even gave them out free.
Okay off the soapbox- just hate to have people lose their lives needlessly.
