well, just got home and had to feed before i could sit down and breathe
son took us to the hospital as y'all know, it was the hospital not the dr's office, dr took him down and put the cath? into his wrist and up to his heart, the old stent he had put in at least 20 years ago had clogged up completely so he put another one in close to the old one, still clogged to he put another one close to the new one, now its open and his heart beat is going up, while we were there(left while husband was eating lunch) his heart beat went up slowly but surely to 70 SO RELIEVED, dr was real nice, he slipped husband in ahead of his first operation cause husbands dr here in town was scared for husband, his heart beat before was only 48 and he was afraid he would have a heart attack before he could get in to this heart surgeon. if nothing goes wrong, i can go get him in the morning and bring him home:wee:wee:yesss:

Wonderful news Sharron! :celebrate:ya:yesss:

Just catching up...

Cap, so did the steroid shot help with the pain?

Sean, must have missed your results...is everything healing up ok?

Sharron, glad they got to your DH right away. Hope he can come back home tomorrow!

Blooie, thanks for sharing the cranberry relish recipe. Darn, I have everything but walnuts. And to think, I stood there looking at them on the shelf before deciding I didn't need them. They'd be great in your relish.

DH called today, he's hard at work up there on the house in Casper. He said that crawl space is full of junk so he's cleaning it all out. He also told me there are 2 no longer functioning heaters down there alongside the functioning heater! I guess when one died, they just stuck a new one next to the dead one...a couple of times. :confused:

@sharron that's such great news!

Cap I hope your shoulder feels better soon, and I know how frustrating it is to have stuff you need to get done, but you can't (or shouldn't).

Sean, I hope the doctor can give you a clue as to how your leg is healing.

My Nan got sent home (she's currently staying with my parents) with 2 drains in her neck which, by next morning had blocked up. They had to take her to the hospital on Sunday and they were replaced, only to have exactly the same thing happen the next morning. They were meeting the surgeon the next day so Mum gave him a flea in his ear!

We've just had a big hail storm. The kids have collected some to put in the freezer to show DH/Dad later. DS is currently jumping on the trampoline with a whole bunch of hail. Very exciting stuff. It's rather cold outside - but we are toasty inside with the fire going.

That's too bad about your grandmother Jae, what a pain to have to keep going through that.

Hope you didn't get any hail damage.
