Good morning Cap!Good morning everyone! I need to finish wrapping hubby's gifts!
Hey Cap, doing great this morning. Thanks for asking...how are you today?Good morning Sean. How are you feeling today?
Still fighting infections, but glad to be alive. Going to hit 60° here today I think! Have a great holiday!Hey Cap, doing great this morning. Thanks for asking...how are you today?
Seems like the infections never go away. Going to be in the mid 70's here today. Merry Christmas, Cap!Still fighting infections, but glad to be alive. Going to hit 60° here today I think! Have a great holiday!
Those cows are beautiful!I think one cow would move in if she could. That would be Maisy who loves attention:

This one is Merry who is also very confident and sweet:

Then there is Milkshake who is warming up to us and has discovered that having a scratch is rather good:

And lastly Macaroon who is still a bit skittery but she's getting better:

Those photos are from a couple of weeks ago so I must get some new ones. They are supposedly Murray Grey crossed with either Friesian (Holsteiners to you) or Jerseys. I think Merry is a Jersey cross as she's smaller and has the shorter, cuter Jersey face. It will be interesting to see how they turn out.
And somebody asked if we still had cockatiels inside (sorry - I forgot to hit 'quote') and yes, we have quite a few as there was a second batch of babies that we have raised. They are all so adorable. But one special one is my Cameo who is a cinnamon pied lutino hen. She's going to be so pretty as the cinnamon comes through as a lavender wash on her wings. It's very light at the moment but will darken a bit as she gets older.

And we are keeping our little special white baby who is now called Sprout. He's only a little thing and we just adore him. Here's a photo of him enjoying a full face scratch:

Enjoy your Christmas Eves everyone and have a relaxing Christmas Day. I'm just waiting for two excited children to go to sleep so I can do the same. We are going to my younger sisters place tomorrow and my older sister is up with her partner from Kapiti (near the bottom of the north island of NZ) so they are coming out to visit us on Boxing Day (which you guys don't have, do you?). So I may not get on here in the next couple of days but hopefully I can stop by more often.
