I was just reading excerpts on that, that's it! Crimanetly, all this time You're the best, thank you. Have you read that one yet? I remember it being very good, but I'll have to read it again.

I did read that one but it was years ago, barely remember it. Might have to dig it up again.

I haven't read them. Glad to have some good book suggestions, so I'll have to check them out! Do you ever get audio books? I've thought about trying one for going back and forth to work to see if I like it.

Way back when my youngest was into high school wrestling, I'd listen to audio books while waiting for him. I enjoyed them but haven't had that much traveling or waiting time since.

My brother & his wife love audio books...they travel a lot and always have a book on. They told me they rent them from Cracker Barrel restaurants, listen to them on their trip and drop them back off at another Cracker Barrel along their way.

That's neat, didn't know that about Cracker Barrel. I've always been worried I'd dislike the voice and will have wasted my money. Maybe if Morgan Freeman narrated every book I also don't venture far, but it's about 40 mins a day from home to work and back, so it might be nice. Change of pace, in any case.

That short one I was talking about really took me a minute to get into it. The narrator was using such a goofy voice! But it turned out quite good.

And since real life IS more scary, I too have given up on watching the news. I used to tune into the local and national news religiously every evening, I was wondering why I was getting so depressed all the time. I stopped watching the news and all of a sudden I felt SO much better!!

Meg did you ever read Fear Nothing or Seize the Night by Dean Koontz? The main character has xeroderma, can't go out in the sun. Both are very good!

i liked these, was thinking he would make a series out of them, but nope, still waiting

sometimes i have good luck, have a few more seeds i want to try(lemons) planted some homegrown white grapefruits the other day, the fish and shrimp market, had two,one of their customers had brought in and they gave them to me(they didn't know what they were) i ate the smallest and found out what it was, should know in about a week to 10 days whether the're going to come up
