The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

the problem with me is i don't really want to go anywhere that he won't take me, we've been together for so many years that it would be like losing a arm or leg if he wasn't with me and to be honest, hes had a mini stroke and i was lucky enough to keep him so what can i say. when we were younger, i would leave him at home for 2 or 3 weeks and come down here to visit my parents , he never had a problem with that, his momma did but not him lol, so when i say husband wouldn't allow me, i'm fudging
My hubby goes to Nova Scotia every summer for 2 to 3 weeks and I stay home with the critters. I do like having time to myself, but at the same time I miss him. We have been together since fall of 1974.

Okay, it wasn't a cardinal. I don't know what it is. But it's happily outside and doing it's thing. Sue had a butterfly net. :D

looks like it might be a female blue bird, head is the same, some blue in the wings and maybe a robin red on the stomach?
forgot to mention, its a beauty whatever it is

Good news is she wasn't hard to catch. Sue had a butterfly net (yea for teachers) and we opened the door and placed it over her. She was tired from trying to get out so she didn't put up much fight. I sat her on the deck rail and she fluffed and sat there for a moment and then flew off to a nearby tree. She really wasn't interested in water or feed.
